Though this chair is comfortable, I cannot recommend it as I've had so much trouble with the backrest. About a year in, something in the backrest suddenly snapped, and would not stay in it's usual position, instead skewing the backrest unevenly. So I emailed photos to customer services and they sent me a new backrest. Then it was all good until now, just a month before my warranty ends, and the exact same thing happens with the new backrest. I still had the old backrest, so I cut into it to find the problem - it's the weld that has failed where the metal connecting piece that receives the bolts meets the round metal framework of the chair.
Considering that this has happened twice now, I can only conclude that this chair is not fit for purpose (I am well within the weight range for the chair), so I asked for a refund. I was refused and offered another new backrest and 6 months more warranty, later upgraded to 12 months. But I see no point in this as the same thing will happen again. When you pay close to £300 for a chair, you expect it to last more than 3 years. My last chair from Ikea cost half the price, was guaranteed for 10 years and lasted even longer - it may not have reached the same level of padding, but I'll be going back to Ikea next time.

Incredibly comfortable chair, was glad I followed various online recommendations despite not trying the chair first. Instructions could have been better by including the item reference letters in the text throughout rather than having to cross-reference the names from the instructions steps to the item list at the front, but just a minor thing.

Very well put together. Looks great and has good functions.
My only disappointment was that the seat is very firm. Maybe it will soften in time

Really pleased with the chair. Good solid construction. Reasonably easy to put together and most importantly I'm finding it very comfortable.
