I’m writing this review having come from one of those £80 bad boys from that very large online retailer everybody knows. It fell apart after a year, hence my purchase of the Master Max 😂✨🌈

Honestly wasn’t sure what was on the cards with the Boulies Master Max. Turns out it was a great bloomin’ purchase 🥸🦋🖤

The seat and back, firm and supportive. Once I played around with the lumbar support, fits me perfectly well.

I’m on the larger side, 5 11” height wise, and just north of 18st at the time of purchase. I was just on the cusp of the two chairs for height, but clearly in the Max category for mass.

After a bit of deliberation, chose the Max model, and OH MY LORD it is SO comfortable.

The little seat wings are just the right size and angle to have you feeling supported without any squeeze.

The arms rests attach underneath the chair and protrude outwards, so they don’t squeeze your legs at all, unlike other models that I have owned.

Also, because they are height adjustable, I’m resting my entire forearm, rather than just balancing on a point of my elbow. I was a little concerned the firmer material may be an issue, but it’s actually spot on. You can put them in different positions for controller gaming or watching a show/movie. It really has great arm rests.

The build quality for me feels super solid. Like it was built for a big boy 😂

I’m very confident it’s gonna last me, and the warranty of 24 months fills me with that bit extra confidence.

I could not be happier with my purchase.

***NOTE FOR BOULIES*** - I originally tried to write this review on my iPhone, however, there's no option to submit the review. It may be a formatting issue on the smaller screen, but after multiple attempts, I could not submit the review. If I weren't so passionate about this chair, I wouldn't have bothered to get on my PC and go to the effort of doing this review again. Others may be experiencing this issue, and not submitting reviews as a result. Still a great chair though.

Absolutely perfect comfy just what I needed. I would recommend to anyone it was recommended to me by chat gpt and it’s amazing very clear instructions easy to assemble so happy and very quick delivery

Nach dem Auspacken war der erste Eindruck bereits sehr positiv. Der Stuhl fühlt sich durchdacht an und lässt sich individuell einstellen. Die Kombination aus Arbeiten und Entspannen funktioniert für mich sehr gut.

Easy to put together and the brown and black is a lovely looking combination. Seating position took a bit of getting used to as the front of the chair raises yours knees a bit. My previous chair didn't so that took a while to adjust to. The lumbar support is useless. It's in the middle of the back and while it can be adjusted, it can't be adjusted low enough. But worst of all, the front of the seat rippled after about an hour of sitting in it. I really hope for more from this chair, wouldn't buy another.

The Master features built-in lumbar support with adjustable height and in-out firmness control. At its lowest setting, the raised lumbar section sits approximately 15 cm above the seat cushion, positioning it within the lower lumbar region for most users. However, body proportions and preferred support positions vary, and we understand that you would have preferred it to sit lower. Your comments regarding the lumbar adjustment range and the raised front edge of the seat have been shared with our product team for consideration in future improvements. If you would prefer an alternative form of support positioned lower down, an additional lumbar cushion is also available. Please contact our support team if you are interested.

Regarding the rippling at the front of the seat, this is the first report of this kind that we have encountered and is highly unusual. The Master seat is made from 100% one-piece moulded cold-cure foam, which has strong resilience and is designed to return to its original shape. Under normal use, this type of lasting compression or rippling should not occur after such a short period. Please rest assured that your chair is covered by a two-year warranty. If an issue with the seat is confirmed, our support team will do everything possible to resolve it for you.
