I’d been looking for a new chair for my home office for a while and went for the 2026 Master Rex because I wanted something I could use for both work and gaming.
I’m impressed with how adjustable it is. The lumbar support can be moved to where I actually need it, and the 6D armrests are especially handy when switching between typing and using a controller. The seat is really supportive and comfy and doesn’t have the really aggressive raised sides that some gaming chairs do so my thighs don’t feel restricted.
The recline is smooth and works really well with the footrest, making it especially comfortable when leaning back and relaxing. I’ve been using it quite a lot when watching videos or leaning back in the evening.
The design is clean and the leather feels premium.
Overall, a big upgrade from my previous chair.

Comfortable, solid and easy to adjust. Lumbar feels much more adjustable than my previous chair, and the footrest is a nice addition when I want to lean back and relax. Recline is smooth and the footrest makes a bigger difference than I expected. It feels like a proper upgrade from my old gaming chair.

The materials feel really good quality. The seat did feel a little firm at first, but even after sitting in it all day, the cushion still holds its shape well. Customer service mentioned that a seat that’s too soft can actually cause discomfort after a while, and I understand what they meant now. The armrests are easy to adjust and the recline feels smooth.
I also got an extra year of warranty after subscribing, which was a nice bonus. Hopefully it’ll last me for many years.

I’m 69 years old but still spend plenty of time working and gaming. My son recommended the Master to me, but I ended up going for this one because of the footrest. From what I could tell, the core features are quite similar, and the footrest is probably the biggest obvious difference between the two.
I was also considering the EP500 for a while, but in the end I felt more comfortable sticking with a gaming chair style. So far, I’m happy with the choice.
