First, you need to prepare the below Tools:
- Soft Cloth or Towel; Or looking for a clean area
- Protective Gloves
- Split Shaft Collar*2
- Allen Key*1
- Lubricant (e.g., WD-40)
Steps to Follow:
- Choose a flat, stable surface — Ensure you have enough space to work comfortably. Lay down a soft cloth or towel to protect the floor and the chair parts from damage.
- Wear protective gear — Gloves will protect your hands from sharp edges or grease, ensuring a safer and cleaner repair process.
Once prepared, you’ll be ready to proceed with separating the gas lift. Follow these steps below to maintain the task:

Step 1: Fully extend the cylinder, clean the grease off with a napkin the chair onto its side.
Step 2: Attach the small solid ring(no side screw holes)close to the mechanism. This collar must be loose, able to slide up and down.
Step 3: Attach the small ring with holes on the side, Ensure this is screwed tight, It must not able to move.
Step 4: Insert the long screws into the holes one the side of the cuff from the bottom up. Tighten evenly and alternately. This will push the top collar up and detach the gas cylinder from the mechanism.
Step 5: Takethe tools away.
Step 6: Carefully pull the gas lift out.

Step 1: Place the base on the floor.
Step 2: Remove the gas cover if there is one.
Step 3: Attach the large solid ring(A) (no side screw holes)close to the base. This collar must be loose, able to slide up and down.
Step 4: Attach the large ring with holes on the side, Ensure this is screwed tight, It must not be able to move.
Step 5: Insert the long screws into the holes one the side of the cuff from the top down. Tighten evenly and alternately. This will push the bottom collar down and detach the base from the gas cylinder.

Initial Removal Steps:
1. Detaching the Backrest and Tilt Mechanism from the Gas Lift:
- Refer to the attached video.
- Grasp both sides of the backrest/seat with your hands.
- Press down on the wheelbase using your left foot.
- Pull up to separate the backrest from the tilt mechanism. Note: There's no need to remove screws or any other parts for this step. Due to the chair's usage, the mechanism and gas lift might fit snugly. It might require a few attempts.
2. Wheels Removal: Detach all the wheels from the base.
3. Gas Lift Removal from Base:
- Place the base flat on the ground.
- Stand on the middle of the base as shown in the attached video.
- This should allow the Gas lift to come off the base.

- Turn the cushion upside down.
- Use a cloth-wrapped hammer to gently tap the gas lift.
- To separate the gas lift from the tilt mechanism, use pliers.
- Important Notice: During the accessory replacement process, please be aware that our product accessories are made of iron and are relatively heavy. To avoid any damage, do not operate on vulnerable or expensive surfaces, such as floors or tiles. Instead, perform the replacement on a sturdy, protected surface.

If you still can't disassemble it using the above method,you can also try the following method:
First and foremost WD-40 or any grease is essential to this task to loosen up the connection of the bottle with the seat especially after long use since it might get a bit rusty
Proper pipe wrench is very helpful because of the amount of physical force this task require.
- Use your WD-40 or grease where the bottle is connected with your seat and turn it upside down so it has an easier time to penetrate and leave it for a couple hours (at least 1).
- Then, tap the tray and the gas cylinder with a hammer. Once it loosens, try Method 1 or 2 again.
